On Sunday, March 31, 2019, the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office issued charges on suspect Percy Lindsey, 44 years of age, of the 9900 block of Glen Owen Drive in St. Louis, Missouri 63136, for one count of Murder in the Second Degree. Lindsey is being held on a $500,000 bond. A mugshot of Lindsey is attached.
The probable cause statement reads: Darryl Billups body was discovered outside the halfway house where he resided. He was deceased. Police contacted Percy Lindsey, another resident of the halfway house, and discovered blood on his shoes, pants, jacket, and other items. Police identified a blood trail leading from Lindsey’s room to where the body was located.
The deceased is positively identified as Darryl Billups, 36 years of age, of the 9900 block of Glen Owen Drive in St. Louis, Missouri 63136.
Detectives from the St. Louis County Police Department’s Bureau of Crimes Against Persons are conducting the investigation.
