On Friday, January 17, 2020, the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office issued charges on suspect Joshua Easley, 36 years of age, of the 6000 block of Larry Lane in St. Louis, Missouri 63134, for one count of Murder in the First Degree.  Easley is being held without bond. A mugshot of Easley is attached. Please note, charges are merely an accusation and the Defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.


The probable cause statement reads: The Victim worked for the co-Defendant doing lawn care. A lawn mower and leaf blower belonging to the co-Defendant went missing. The co-Defendant was angered and expressed that anger toward the Victim. Several days later, the co-Defendant and Defendant drove the Victim to an abandoned building.  The co-Defendant shot the Victim multiple times.  The Victim was found dead from multiple gunshot wounds.

Detectives from the St. Louis County Police Department’s Bureau of Crimes Against Persons are conducting the investigation.
