For Immediate Release

On Saturday, February 27, 2016, the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office issued charges on William “Billy” Hogenmiller, 20 years of age, of the 2600 block of White Manor Court, St. Louis, MO 63114, for one count of Rape in the First Degree. Hogenmiller is being held on a $75,000 cash only bond. A photo of Hogenmiller is attached.

The probable cause statement reads: On or between February 25, 2016 and February 26, 2016, the victim reports that the Defendant used force to attempt to pull the legs of the victim down and apart while the Defendant laid on top of the victim. The victim actively fought the Defendant and such action was a substantial step toward the commission of the crime of Rape in the First Degree.

A detective from the St. Louis County Police Department Child Abuse Unit presented the case to the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s office where the above charges were issued.

The victim of this crime is a child, and is known to Hogenmiller. Hogenmiller has worked at a youth- serving organization as a counselor, and an organization that provides respite care to adults and children with disabilities. This case does not involve any of these organizations, and there are no other victims who have come forward at this time, but the St. Louis County Police are asking if anyone believes they may have been victimized by William “Billy” Hogenmiller to call 636-529-8210.
