Affton-Southwest Precinct (3rd)

Captain Melissa Webb, Commander

On behalf of the men and women of the Affton Southwest Precinct, I want to welcome you to the Precinct website. The members of our department are committed to providing the highest level of professional police services to the Citizens of St. Louis County and our visitors.

The men and women continue to work tirelessly and I am proud to report that we continue to see a reduction of crime throughout the entire Affton Southwest Precinct. During the upcoming months, officers will utilize new crime prevention technology to enhance our services and build upon successes.

I encourage citizens to report suspicious activity to the police department. Your calls make a difference! When reporting the activity attempt to obtain as much information as you can and relay it to the operators in our communications center. Important information such as; what is going on, vehicle description to include license plate, what individuals are wearing, their direction of travel, and any information you believe is valuable to resolve the issue.

Community engagement is a priority, during the year your Precinct Officers will participate in several events with residents to include; Block parties, National Night Out, Halloween Safety Center, Citizen’s Police Academy, the popular monthly “Coffee with the Commander”, and much more.

In closing, I encourage you to visit our social media resources often to obtain updated information that may be of vital interest to you and our community.
